Welcome to Tarangire National Park, just a short two-hour drive from Arusha. Upon your arrival at the park, your guide will elevate the roof to enhance your viewing experience. Tarangire boasts the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Here, you can observe giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, and wildebeests, as well as a variety of antelopes and gazelles. The landscape is characterized by seasonal marshes and an expansive tree savannah, where majestic baobab trees stand tall. Following a series of thrilling game drives through the park, you will arrive at the Nimali Tarangire Camp in the afternoon. Experience a stunning sunset, unwind in the inviting lounge space, or socialize by the warm campfire.

Following a satisfying breakfast, you will embark on another exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park. In the dry season from June to October, the Tarangire River stands as the sole permanent water source, drawing wildlife to its surroundings. You will pause for lunch at one of the picnic spots in the park. In the afternoon, you bid farewell to this stunning park. As you ascend to the elevated terrain, you traverse the vibrant town of Mtowambu, where breathtaking vistas of the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara reveal themselves. Following the essential photo opportunity, you will proceed to the lush, verdant highlands of the crater.

You will spend your night at Kitela Lodge, nestled in the heart of a coffee plantation and enveloped by stunning gardens.

Today, you will commence a journey into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The acacia forests and grass steppes are home to almost all of the animal species that inhabit the East African Savannah. You may encounter the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) within a matter of hours. After a delightful day of wildlife observation and a picnic in the crater, you will depart from the breathtaking highlands of Ngorongoro in the afternoon and drive to the Serengeti. Prepare to behold the vast, expansive landscapes of the southern Serengeti as you proceed to the Seronera Valley, situated in the center of this majestic region. You are in for a delightful three-night sojourn at the stunning Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge.

You will spend two days observing wildlife in the Serengeti National Park. Your guide will lead you to the finest locations for wildlife observation. This expansive national park hosts a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topis, and both Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, along with numerous other species. In the Seronera Valley, you can enjoy exceptional wildlife sightings throughout the entire year. The Serengeti, along with the Masai Mara in Kenya, hosts the most significant animal migration on Earth. Your accommodation will be at the Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge. Meals throughout the days are provided.

If the schedule permits, you will embark on one final game drive in the early morning hours. Following a satisfying breakfast at the lodge, your guide will escort you to the airport. Here, you will bid farewell and embark on a small aircraft that will transport you back to Arusha. For an extra fee, we can organize connecting flights to the beautiful coast or islands of Tanzania.
