itinerary
Your driver guide will greet you warmly at Kilimanjaro International Airport and then transport you to Arusha for an overnight stay at one of our partner hotels. Once you’ve connected with your driving guide and received an overview of the upcoming safaris, feel free to catch some rest until morning.
Your guide will pick you up in the morning after breakfast and drive you on a trip to Tarangire National Park. Mainly consisting of low hills on the bottom of the Great Rift Valley, the park follows the course of the Tarangire River. The park is known for its acacia forests and huge concentration of African baobab trees. There are also large areas of wetland in the south of the park. When it is dry in Tanzania, animals flock to the river and the marshes. Tarangire is home to some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. The wildlife drive will continue after a picnic lunch, and you will stay at Tarangire Public Campsite for the night.
After breakfast, you leave right away for Serengeti National Park. On our way, we go through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and a beautiful farming area in the Karatu Highlands. We are leaving the mountains behind and going to the Serengeti National Park in Africa, where the fields go on forever. Our destination in the Central Serengeti is a location known as Seronera. Here, a water source attracts a diverse array of typical Serengeti animals. You will arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and immediately embark on a safari game drive. You will camp overnight at the Nyani camping site.
Individuals who secured their spot will have the pleasure of experiencing a hot air balloon ride at dawn. Next, proceed with your adventure by navigating the Sogore River Circuit. This is a journey through the vast plains located south of the Seronera River, where you may encounter lions, Thomson gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. We will serve a delightful picnic lunch under the majestic acacia trees. Following your meal, we will embark on a scenic drive around the Maasai Kopjes, routing in an anticlockwise direction through the Kopjes Circuit. This journey offers a fantastic chance to spot a pride of lions and some impressively large cobras.
The following morning, post-breakfast, we will head to the Western Corridor, the most remote section of Serengeti National Park. As we journey from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor zone, we will pause for an exciting game drive. We intend to arrive back at camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
The morning game drive will commence soon after breakfast and will continue until lunchtime. After lunch, we will head to Ngorongoro for our overnight stay. While exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will have the chance to observe traditional Maasai life and learn more about this intriguing culture. After a delightful dinner, spend an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Your trip will take you more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater for a half-day trek that you will never forget. Many diverse animals, including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthogs, and large African elephants, can thrive in Ngorongoro because it consistently provides water and food. Predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards live in this beautiful protected area. It often requires a keen eye to spot them.
Lake Magadi is one of the most fascinating things about the crater. It is an alkaline lake that stands out. You can often see flamingos, hippos, and many other types of water birds in this area. After lunch, you will leave the crater and go straight to Arusha or the airport, which will be the end of our trip.
