Your guide will be ready to greet you upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), designated for domestic flights. As your guide drives you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzania’s “safari capital,” relax in the comfortable car at your disposal. As you make your way to the hotel, you’ll encounter the vibrant central business district of this significant city. Depending on your arrival time, your pre-safari briefing may take place today; if not, it will take place first thing tomorrow morning. Your overnight accommodations will be at an exceptional safari lodge close to the city. Please prepare for your upcoming journey tomorrow.

We will coordinate the conveyance to and from your Arusha hotel in the morning, as well as to the Arusha National Park.  The park is home to an extraordinary array of flora and fauna. This location served as the setting for the iconic film “Hatari,” which starred Hardy Kruger and the legendary John Wayne. The Ngurdoto Crater will be a stop on your journey. The lush greenery in this region features towering elephant grass and sprawling acacia woodlands. Potential sightings include the giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. With its abundant variety of nesting species, Tarangire National Park boasts the highest number of bird species found anywhere on the planet. This location offers a perfect opportunity to witness these gentle giants in their natural habitat, as it boasts the largest population of elephants in Tanzania, from tiny calves to massive adults. Following your meal, proceed to your lodging for the evening.

Following a fulfilling breakfast, you’ll return to Tarangire National Park to resume your safari and capture stunning images of the African wildlife present. Your safari guide will expertly navigate the park’s unique geography, lush vegetation, and diverse species to ensure you experience the finest locations. Explore Tarangire National Park for a day, then head to Karatu for an evening of relaxation and dinner at one of the area’s top lodges.

Following breakfast, you will proceed on your safari journey to Serengeti National Park. As you drive, you’ll encounter the stunning landscapes of the Karatu highland fields and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA). As you venture further into the wilds of Africa, the majestic highlands will gradually fade from sight. In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to embark on a game drive in Serengeti National Park, following your timely arrival for a delightful picnic lunch. You will spend your first night in the Serengeti in a lodge we reserved for you.

Experience two immersive days of game drives as you delve into the breathtaking landscapes and marvels of Serengeti National Park. Experience the breathtaking beauty of African wildlife in their authentic surroundings, featuring magnificent lions, elegant giraffes, and spirited elephants. As the sun dips below the horizon of the expansive savannah, unwind in the comfort of your safari lodge, sharing stories of the day’s exhilarating encounters with fellow adventurers. After breakfast, we begin our wildlife drive toward the western Serengeti. For two nights in the area, you will have the opportunity to experience the breathtaking beauty of the African savannah and observe the incredible diversity of wildlife that calls this region home. The western Serengeti is famous for its large populations of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, making it an ideal spot for wildlife enthusiasts. Be alert for the elusive leopards and cheetahs roaming the grasslands, and ensure your camera is ready to capture these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you can relax by the campfire and listen to the sounds of the African night, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A wildlife drive over the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area kicks off the day. Watch for the Big Five and other animals as you travel over the expansive savannah, allowing them to graze freely in their natural environment. The breathtaking vistas of the crater rim will heighten your sense of wonder and adventure as you see one of Earth’s most distinctive and varied ecosystems. Prepare to be amazed by the Ngorongoro Crater’s breathtaking splendor and profusion of species. Before returning to the resort for a restful evening among the sounds of the African environment, you will have lunch in a picnic area with a view of the crater.

On this day, embark on a game drive through the crater floor, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of animals, from grazing herds of wildebeest and zebras to majestic lions and elusive leopards. The landscape is like something out of a dream, with lush greenery contrasting against the rugged crater walls, creating a truly unforgettable experience for any nature enthusiast. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the magic of this natural wonder as you explore every corner of the Ngorongoro Crater.After the day has come to a close, go on your journey to the Ngorongoro Highlands to have supper and spend the night at a designated lodge in Karatu.

It will only take two hours to get to Lake Manyara National Park from the hotel. The stunning sight of the pink flamingos lining the lake’s shores will greet you when you first begin your game drive. As you explore the park, look for the rare tree-climbing lions. The diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, and giraffes, will provide you with plenty of opportunities for unforgettable photographs. Enjoy the beauty of this national park as you explore its lush landscapes and vibrant wildlife. After a long day of game drives, you will drive back to Karatu for a night of relaxation.
