After the bustle and hustle of Dar es Salaam, spend a relaxing night in Saadani National Park. The goal of this trip is to provide you with beach time and wildlife viewing opportunities. Saadani National Park is the only national park in Tanzania with an Indian Ocean beachfront, making it a unique destination for both relaxation and adventure. You can spend your days lounging on the pristine white sandy beaches, watching the waves crash against the shore, and exploring the bush in search of elephants, giraffes, and lions. As the sun sets, enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars before falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Combining a trip to Saadani with a visit to Bagamoyo enhances its uniqueness. Bagamoyo is a historical town located just a short distance from Saadani National Park and offers a fascinating glimpse into Tanzania’s past. Explore the ancient ruins, visit the museums, and stroll through an old town to experience authentic Tanzanian culture.

Day 1: Dar Es Salaam To Saadani National Park

Your driver and guide in Dar es Salaam will be ready to meet you at your hotel or another agreed-upon location following an early breakfast. Following a brief introduction and trip briefing, your 4×4 safari vehicle will head directly to Saadani National Park. Once you’ve finished the required paperwork at the park’s entrance station, head straight to the Wami River for a boat ride that lasts between one and two hours.

Following the morning boat ride, you will head back to your cottage for lunch before departing at 15:45 for the evening game drive, which will continue until 19:00 hours. Following the game drive, you will head back to your cottage for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Saadani To Bagamoyo And Then To Dar Es Salaam

Most likely, this day will start very early in the morning with a quick sip of steaming coffee and then a trip to the park for a game drive. We schedule this early morning game drive to start around 5:30 a.m. and conclude at 9:00 a.m. After breakfast, you’ll go back to your cottage to clean up before getting in the safari vehicle and heading to Bagamoyo.

We anticipate your arrival in Bagamoyo before noon, after which you will embark on a town tour that will conclude at 16:00. We will provide lunch at one of the excellent eateries in Bagamoyo. After exploring Bagamoyo, return to your vehicle to conclude your vacation in Dar es Salaam.

I did a 3-days-2-nights trekking with We Cab Tours in Gombe National park. What can I say? Asante sana! The trip was just super perfect! I saw many chimpanzees (it's not guaranteed for sure because as you know how wildlife is sometimes). BUT I did it in the end of March when officially is off-season and I still saw them. The weather was really good too. Juma, the owner and his employees are super nice people. I always felt safe and understood. Moreover everything was on time what is really rare to get - believe me. I would do it with this organization again for sure! And I will do some other trips when I am again in Tanzania
